Publishing Results & Scores on Social & Websites

Under 7 to Under 11

Results MUST NOT be published

The FA strictly prohibits the publication of scores, results, scorers or league tables for any U7 to U11 fixture. This applies to all social media and digital platforms — TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, WhatsApp parent groups, club websites, and any other online platform.

You can still post positive content celebrating effort and teamwork, but the score must never be mentioned.

Under 12's +

Results may be shared but responsibly

There is no prohibition on posting results for U12 and above. However, all social media activity must remain respectful. Criticising referees, posting abusive comments about opponents, or any conduct that brings the game into disrepute is a breach of FA Rule E3 regardless of age group and carries significant charges & fines.

Consequences

Breaches of these rules are the responsibility of the club — not individual players or parents.

The league can impose fines starting from £20 per breach, and more serious cases will be referred to the County FA and/or The FA themselves, where further stringent sanctions will apply.
