Courses normally span 9-10 evenings in 2 hour sessions culminating in the Hampshire FA examination. Courses are also available through the Aldershot, Alton, Basingstoke, Bracknell and Farnham Referees' Association Societies. Farnham and Bracknell courses sit the Surrey or Berks & Bucks exams but it doesn't matter which County exam is taken as registration is transferable between County FAs.

There is a cost for the course;

Over 18 - £82.00. £15.00 for Referee registration with the appropriate County, £21.00 for the Child Protection Workshop and £16.00 for a CRB Check. £30.00 will be returned once ten 11-a-side matches have been covered as an appointed referee.

Under 18 but Over 15 - £66.00. £15.00 for Referee registration with the appropriate County and £21.00 for the Child Protection Workshop. £30.00 will be returned once ten 11-a-side matches have been covered as an appointed referee.

Under 16 but Over 14 - £46.00. £15.00 for Referee registration with the appropriate County and £21.00 for the Child Protection Workshop. £10.00 will be returned once ten 11-a-side matches have been covered as an appointed referee.

Referee Registration with Hampshire FA

NEHYL is a registered League with Hampshire FA.

It is a requirement that all referees who officiate within our League are also registered with Hampshire FA, even if they are qualified and registered with another County.

There is currently no additional cost for referees to register with Hampshire but to enable you to officially referee in our league you must be registered with Hampshire FA. Please see www.hampshirefa.com for information on how to register.
