ADDITIONAL COURSE INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This course costs £27 per head, which is payable in advance.

Emergency Aid

  • 3 year certificated Emergency Aid Qualification from Hampshire FA Limited.
  • In football the guidelines/rules are that at least 1 person from the home team at each league organised/sanctioned fixture must have this qualification.
  • If your football team plays in the North East Hants Youth League (NEHYL) all Qualified First Aider’s (QFA) must be registered with them and have received their allocated “QFA” number.

Safeguarding Children in Football

(Child Protection)

  • 3 year certificated Emergency Aid Qualification operated by qualified tutor from Hampshire FA Limited.
  • In football any Charter Standard club has to ensure that all Manager’s, Helpers, Officials and anyone else who regularly interacts or looks after children must have this qualification.

Assistant Referee

For all those who are prepared to help their team Manager by “running the line” on match days - why not come along to one of these informal sessions to learn more about the rules of the game and how they should be applied during a match.

However, assuming you turn up & take the course the fees will be refunded in full

Club Welfare Officer

A special course for Club Welfare Officers based on the Safeguarding Children course.  This qualification will shortly become mandatory and Clubs will not be able to affiliate to their parent County FA without it.  

IMPORTANT - to take this course you must have a current/valid certificate for the standard Safeguarding Children course AND also have a valid/current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

Book your place with the form which we will acknowledge within 48 hours.

 

Unless the course is FOC, you will then need to send a payment.  Cheques should be made payable to NEHYL and sent to;

When we have enough applicants for the course and have arranged a venue and date we will then notify you by text &/or email.

 

Generally  the Venue will be the Mytchett Centre, however if there are enough applicants from the same area we will try to source a venue in that area.

 

We aim to give no less than 3 weeks notice of a course date.
